Jon Bentley

Designer / Founder

Jon has an intuitive understanding of the design process and can also get under the skin of what can improve a brand, space or offer. He has a broad mix of expertise in space planning, brand positioning, visualisation and creating beautiful spaces. He also has built up a tried and trusted fellowship of other talented designers and suppliers who can aide delivery when required. He has over twenty years experience serving clients throughout the UK, USA, Europe and the Middle East, delivering a variety of projects such as airport lounges, casual dining restaurants, casinos, bars and pubs.

Will Allen

Technical

Will has recently graduated with a City & Guilds Advanced Technical Diploma in Construction. He has acute attention to detail and handles our working drawing packages. He also spearheads any planning and building regulation applications which maybe required. So in effect he is the technical brains behind what we do!

Skye Barker

Junior Designer

Skye is our youngest member and brings a unique and fresh perspective on creative decision making. With her being a young person and all that she is also in charge of our social media feeds, thank goodness. She is also a whiz at fixing software issues & she keeps track of project milestones to ensure we keep on top of target deadlines.

Matt Jones

Graphics / Illustrator

Matt has had a long affiliation with Eat-Sleep-Design and has worked in graphic design for over 20 years. He is highly creative and is expert at creating beautifully crafted artwork in the digital form for all kinds of applications. From printed media, website and even illustrations for board games. Matt is one of those people that never switches off from thinking about design. So in effect he really does eat, sleep, design repeat on a daily basis.

Digby Bentley

Mascot / Junior Designer

Digby joined us during the pandemic as a lock-down puppy. He has grown within the business, and with his dogmatic style, is now capable of undertaking his own projects from start to finish…

Our Design Process

Design Development

Full understanding of the clients brief and objectives
Develop the design and operational direction
Produce coordinated plans
Create 3D CGI presentations
Co-ordinate the design with other consultants

Tender Drawings & Procurement

Draft out a full package of interior design working drawings
Provide design procurement schedules and specification document packages
Respond to pre and post tender queries
Adjust designs to suit any value engineering necessary.

On-site Supervision

Monitor adherence to the design documents during the construction phase
Attend site meetings
Ensure the build is in compliance with statutory building regulations where applicable
Provide snagging lists as appropriate for completion
